From a mutual love of dark, moody and melancholic Rock emerges the sound of exciting new Goth Metal band Ewiniar. Hailing from the Adriatic city of Split in Croatia, the husband-and-wife team comprised of Marin and Katarina Tramontana are exploring the broad range of their influences by producing music that represents a new dawn on the Rock horizon.

Breaking onto the world stage in September 2021 with their debut single “Years of Heaven”, Ewiniar are about to dive into a career that will see them release a serious catalogue of work in the near future. Dramatic and brilliantly epic, the duo combines Katarina’s vocals over juddering drums and blistering guitar work to deliver a sonic experience that is all their own. Diving into the darkness and then channelling the light through soaring harmonies, Ewiniar are bringing their best game to the table and leaving nothing on the field.

A true partnership in life as in music, Marin arranges and writes the songs while Katarina puts her pen on the lyrics and explores her inner emotions. Spurred on by their desire to bring their best work to an expanding audience, they quickly followed up their debut with the equally magnificent “Suspiria”. Replicating the drama of their first single, the follow up is an impressive and extraordinary ride into the Goth Rock subculture.

With their album ‘Burning the Night’ that has been released on November 19, 2021, Ewiniar are about to reaffirm their reputation as a band to be reckoned with. Moving beyond the shores of Croatia, their sound will herald a new age in Rock and show that the love of Goth is universal.

We entered with a dark, melancholy, heavy and light sound, chords and constant drumming.

Sounds and oriental style folk type, heavy, hard, strong chords and drums with the same constant step and a little melodic.

Years of Heaven

​

A little bit the continuation of Under the Stars, with the same energy and harmony, less heavy this song and keeping the melodic part throughout the song.

Mother

​

The soft, light, acoustic song with a short narrative introduction, long notes and at times a little faster.

Midnight Sun

​

Heavy sounds from the beginning of the song, dense, dark and melancholy rhythms and beats

Suspiria

​

Excellent melody, sound, rhythm and speed, keeping the instruments fast and melodic, with the same intensity between all of them.

Until the End of Time

​

Very well defined sounds, with a bass scale and heavy musical notes, but with a bit of melodic atmosphere from Katarina's voice.

Seekers of the Sense

​

Good musical introduction of light chords and somewhat heavy drums, an elegant entry composition, with sublime riffs with a dark and melodic atmosphere.

Burning the Night

​

To close this album full of surprises with a slightly faster song, keeping the density and heaviness in its chords and drums.

My Recomendation

​

Ewiniar band, leaves us with dark, melancholic and heavy music, which emerges with the sound of Ewiniar, we could say a Melodic Gothic Rock/Metal Combining female and male voices on heavy, hard, strong and vibrant chords, melodic at various times, the compositions they are very elegant and well mixed, handling tempo changes well and Katarina's beautiful voice is kept in a clean and smooth scale, it is a very involving album each song has a little difference, the same musical line is maintained throughout album but with some differences in some songs like Mother, a good album where they show us the quality of musical production of both, for you who like or are looking for modern Rock/Goth Metal Ewiniar is your best option!

De un amor mutuo por el rock oscuro, temperamental y melancólico surge el sonido de la nueva y emocionante banda de Goth Metal, Ewiniar. Provenientes de la ciudad adriática de Split en Croacia, el equipo de marido y mujer compuesto por Marin y Katarina Tramontana están explorando la amplia gama de sus influencias al producir música que representa un nuevo amanecer en el horizonte del Rock.

​

Irrumpiendo en el escenario mundial en septiembre de 2021 con su sencillo debut "Years of Heaven", Ewiniar está a punto de sumergirse en una carrera que los verá lanzar un catálogo serio de trabajo en un futuro cercano. Dramático y brillantemente épico, el dúo combina la voz de Katarina sobre la batería vibrante y el trabajo de guitarra abrasador para brindar una experiencia sonora propia. Sumergiéndose en la oscuridad y luego canalizando la luz a través de armonías altísimas, Ewiniar trae su mejor juego a la mesa y no deja nada en el campo.

Un poco la continuación de Under the Stars, con la misma energía y armonía, menos pesada esta canción y manteniendo la parte melódica en toda la canción.

​

La canción suave, ligera, acústica y con una introducción de narrativa breve, notas largas y por momentos un poco más rápidas.

Sonidos pesados desde el inicio de la canción, ritmos y tiempos densos, oscuros y melancólicos

​

Excelente melodía, sonido, ritmo y velocidad, manteniendo los instrumentos rápidos y melódicos, con la misma intensidad entre todos ellos.

Sonidos muy bien definidos, con una escala de graves y pesadas notas musicales, pero con un poco de atmosfera melódica por la voz de Katarina.

Seekers of the Sense

​

Buena introducción musical de acordes ligeros y batería algo pesada, una composición elegante de entrada, con riffs sublimes con una atmosfera oscura y melódica.

Burning the Night

​

Para cerrar este álbum lleno de sorpresas con una canción un poco más rápida, manteniendo la densidad y pesadez en sus acordes y batería.

Mi Recomendación

​

Ewiniar band, nos deja música oscura, melancólica y pesada, que surge con el sonido de Ewiniar, podríamos decir un Melodic Gothic Rock/Metal Combinando voces femeninas y masculinas sobre acordes pesados, duros, fuertes y vibrantes, melódicos en varios momentos, las composiciones son muy elegantes y bien mezcladas, manejando bien los cambios de tempos y la bella voz de Katarina se mantiene en una escala limpia y suave, es un álbum muy envolvente cada canción tiene un poco de diferencia, se mantiene la misma línea musical en todo el álbum pero con algunas diferencias en algunas canciones como en Mother, un buen álbum donde nos muestran la calidad de producción musical de ambos, para ti que te gusta o buscas Rock/Goth Metal moderno Ewiniar es tu mejor opción!
