DEATHROLL is a Japanese solo black metal project, singer, songwriter, musician, and black metal band. Born in Iwaki, Fukushima, DEATHROLL started his career in 2012 as solo black metal project and released his first album 荒涼(pronounced “kouryo”). In 2014, DEATHROLL released his second album Brainwashing. In 2015, DEATHROLL released his third album 破壊(pronounced “hakai”) from METAL JAPAN RECORDS. After he released his fourth album Z.K.K. on 1st April 2017, he signed with Glob Metal promotion based in Russia on 1st August 2019.

His most recent album A SICK LIFE was released on 6 September 2019 with STF Records based in Germany to all around the world. He released new digital single "Causing a Nightmare" on 8 October 2021 with STF Records based in Germany to all around the world. He released new digital single "Why is your name on the deathroll?" on 18 March 2022 with STF Records based in Germany to all around the world.

Don't understand the principle of the thing

My Recomendation

The new album that Deathroll leaves us is a good black / heavy metal with an old school style with European influences and with the style of the Japanese black metal scene, the new album "Immortality", has its style and unique sound, with a varied style also between a heavy and the characteristic black metal, Kazu's scratchy and high-pitched voice, the guitar chords are fast, although there are changes in the tempos, the riffs are sharp, some like the style of heavy metal and repetitive , the blast beats are the most notorious and most used in the battery, it has explosions of aggression and a clear sound at all times, especially the voice that stands out from everything in the swarm of sound, it is raw, hard, creepy, dark and with twisted vocals, for some moments it feels chaotic and unstructured but also that style of Kazu is what I think makes the difference with explosive and strong movements afterwards, so it's a complete black metal album, classic style, unique, only Solid, dark, heavy and aggressive, with its own sound and style, lovers of classic black metal will like it!

DEATHROLL es un proyecto de black metal solista japonés, cantante, compositor, músico y banda de black metal. Nacido en Iwaki, Fukushima, DEATHROLL comenzó su carrera en 2012 como un proyecto de black metal en solitario y lanzó su primer álbum 荒涼 (pronunciado “kouryo”). Mi Recomendación

El nuevo albúm que nos deja Deathroll es de un buen black/heavy metal con un estilo a la vieja escuela con influencias europeas y con el estilo propio de la escena del black metal de Japón, el nuevo albúm "Immortality", tiene su estilo y sonido único, con un variado estilo también entre un heavy y el característico black metal la voz rasgada y aguda de Kazu, los acordes de guitarras son rápidos, aunque hay cambios en los tempos, los riffs afilados algunos como el estilo del heavy metal y repetitivos, los blast beats son lo más notorio y más usado en la batería, tiene explosiones de agresión y un sonido nítido en todo momento, sobre todo la voz que sobresale de todo en enjambre del sonido, es crudo, duro, espeluznante, oscuro y con voces retorcidas, por algunos momentos se siente caótico y sin estructura pero también ese estilo de Kazu es lo que creo hace la diferencia con movimientos explosivos y fuertes después, así que es un álbum de black metal completo, de estilo clásico, único, sólido, oscuro, pesado y agresivo, con un sonido y estilo propio, para los amantes del black metal clásico les gustara!
