The new album, "The Antimatter Fantasy" continues and develops the band’s trademark musical style. Numento’s unique sound seamlessly combines the brutality and aggression of extreme metal with catchy ethereal melodies. Numento stands out with the phenomenally diverse vocal styles, ranging from operatic to death metal growls. The new album features finnish traditional instrument, kantele, on half of the tracks. The album was produced and mixed by German producer Chris Herrle, whose hands carefully honed the structures and sounds of the songs to make them as hard-hitting as possible. By working with international professionals, the album takes a great leap forward in the band's production level.

The album title "The Antimatter Fantasy" refers to a fantasy leading to immense destruction, and to a world of thought in which all suffering inflicted on others is justified. Dictators, cult leaders and other pathological personalities have to believe that they are so important and special that they can do anything, as long as their own power and ego are secured. The theme of the album thus continues to explore the nature of evil begun on "The Vile Entity" (2022), but "The Antimatter Fantasy" also reflects the state of the world today and reflects more deeply on the consequences of evil. The album, however, also has a hopeful note, reminding that it is possible to break free from the grip of evil.

My Recomendation

We start the album with Equinox, atmospheric and instrumental with clean chords and Katri's powerful voice, with aggressive riffs and drums, a melodic song. With Opilion we have a powerful entry with rhythms, riffs and heavy, melodic drums and a brutal scream in Katri's voice! In The Solipsist we have more robust rhythms, with those strong and changing chords, just like Katri's voice with excellent energy! In Gargantua with a simple beginning, with a clock in the background, Katri's clean voice in the chorus in a soft way, later heavy chords and drums join in as well as her strong voice in an excellent way! With Singularity, melodic, soft and the voice too, with a good rhythm, slow and medium tempo, from there we can go to the end with The Dark Web with a powerful ending, sharp chords, and bold drums with more presence, the scream Katri's finale in a deep and powerful way, a great Melodic Death.

An album, melodic, energetic, strong, dense, rhythmic, mixing clean and guttural voices, Numento leaves us with a good job on this new album!

El nuevo álbum, "The Antimatter Fantasy", continúa y desarrolla el estilo musical característico de la banda. El sonido único de Numento combina a la perfección la brutalidad y la agresión del metal extremo con melodías etéreas pegadizas. Numento se destaca por sus estilos vocales fenomenalmente diversos, que van desde gruñidos operísticos hasta death metal. El nuevo álbum presenta el instrumento tradicional finlandés, kantele, en la mitad de las pistas. El álbum fue producido y mezclado por el productor alemán Chris Herrle, cuyas manos perfeccionaron cuidadosamente las estructuras y los sonidos de las canciones para hacerlas lo más contundentes posible. Al trabajar con profesionales internacionales, el álbum da un gran salto en el nivel de producción de la banda.

El título del álbum "The Antimatter Fantasy" se refiere a una fantasía que conduce a una inmensa destrucción y a un mundo de pensamiento en el que todo sufrimiento infligido a los demás está justificado. Los dictadores, líderes de sectas y otras personalidades patológicas tienen que creer que son tan importantes y especiales que pueden hacer cualquier cosa, siempre que su propio poder y ego estén asegurados. El tema del álbum continúa explorando la naturaleza del mal iniciado en "The Vile Entity" (2022), pero "The Antimatter Fantasy" también refleja el estado del mundo actual y reflexiona más profundamente sobre las consecuencias del mal. El álbum, sin embargo, también tiene una nota esperanzadora, recordando que es posible liberarse de las garras del mal.

Comenzamos el álbum con Equinox, atmosférica e instrumental con acordes limpios y la poderosa voz de Katri, con riffs y bateria agresivas, una canción melodica. Con Opilion tenemos una poderosa entrada con ritmos, riffs y bateria pesada, melodica y un grito brutal en la voz de Katri! En The Solipsist tenemos unos ritmos más robustos, con esos acordes fuertes y cambiantes, al igual que la voz de Katri con excelente energía! En Gargantua con un inicio sencillo, con un reloj de fondo, voz limpia en coro de Katri de manera suave, posteriormente se unen acordes pesados y bateria al igual que la voz fuerte de ella de excelente manera! Con Singularity, melódica, suave y la voz también, con un buen ritmo, lento y medio tiempo, de ahí podemos irnos hasta al final con The Dark Web con un final potente, acordes filosos, y bateria atrevida y con más presencia, el grito final de Katri de manera profunda y poderosa un Death Melódico genial.

Un álbum, melódico, enérgico, fuerte, denso, rítmico, mezclando voces limpias y guturales, buen trabajo nos deja Numento en este nuevo álbum!
