HADES is a hard rock/ heavy metal band active since 2021. The band was functioning with an different line-up with the current Members: 空也 (Kūya - gt.), Sala (vo.), Yuri (ba.) & Mayo (dr.), the first minialbum「BRINGS」came out on April 28th!

What is your musical career, as a singer?

Sala:

およそ10年くらいです。

About 10 years.

What music do you like? What are your musical influences? Metal, Rock or something else?

Sala:

あらゆるジャンルの音楽を聴いてきました。もちろんロックやメタルも好きです。Linkin Park、Coldplay、U2、SLIPKNOT、Green Day、Arch Enemy、Offspring、ポルノグラフィティ、HY、安室奈美恵、LOVE PSYCHEDELICO、Mr.Childrenなど、尊敬するアーティストを挙げたらきりがありません。

I listened to all genres of music. I like rock and metal, of course. Linkin Park, Coldplay, U2, Slipknot, Green Day, Arch Enemy, Offspring, PornoGraffitti, HY, Namie Amuro, LOVE PSYCHEDELICO, etc... the list is endless!

What are your hobbies?

Sala:

私の趣味はバイクに乗ることです。ハーレーダビットソンに乗っています。バイクでどこへでも行きます。

My hobby is riding motorcycles. My motorcycle is a Harley-Davidson. I go everywhere on my motorcycle.

Do you have other musical bands where you sing?

Sala:

2017年からソロプロジェクトで活動していて、先日2023年6月23日にCDをリリースしました。

I have also been working on a solo project since 2017 and released a CD on June 23, 2023.

How about female metal events right now in Japan?

Sala:

日本には素晴らしいアーティストはたくさんいますが、盛り上がりはまだまだ小さいと思います。YoutubeやTikTok、サブスクリプションの進化によって音楽がより身近に簡単に安価に楽しむことができるようになっても、ハードロックやメタル文化はまだまだアンダーグランドであると感じます。そして音楽や芸術に対するリスペクトが低いとも感じます。

There are many great artists in Japan, but I think the excitement is still small. I feel that the hard rock and metal culture is still underground. I also feel that there is a lack of respect for music and art.

Tell us about your mini album "BRINGS", your album has a lot of dynamism, with that characteristic Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, did you write a song or how was this first mini album composed?

Sala:

ありがとうございます！私たちは「BRINGS」に私達から溢れ出る情熱を素直に表現したかったのです。それは轟く雷のように力強く、時には女性らしく可憐に、時にはユーモラスに。このアルバムは、私たちの自己紹介のような作品です。ライブでは、よりアグレッシブでパワフルなサウンドを体感していただけると思います。

Thank you! We wanted to express the passion that overflows from us. It is as powerful as the thunder that roars, sometimes feminine dainty, sometimes humorous. This album is like an introduction to ourselves. In our live performances, you will experience a more aggressive and powerful sound.

Will you have any other new video besides the super song of (ヘイディーズ) BRING IT ON?

Sala:

今はまだありませんが、新曲を準備しています。私たちの活動をチェックし、新しい情報を待っている人がたくさんいると聞いてとてもうれしいです。ファンの皆さん、ありがとうございます！

We don't have any right now, but we are preparing new songs. It is great to hear that there are so many people checking out our activities and waiting for new information. Thank you to all of our fans!

You are all very talented! Kuya, Yuri and Mayo! What do you think about the band? Your look is great! I love it!

Sala:

ありがとうございます！彼女らとはバンドを結成する前からとても仲が良かったんです。彼女たちからバンドに誘われたときはとても嬉しかったし、彼女たちの力強いサウンドを私の歌でさらに強くすることができると確信していました。私も彼女らも、もっとハイレベルにステップアップしていきたいと思っています。だからHADESはこれからも進化し続けるでしょう。

Thank you! They're and I were very good friends before we formed the band. I was very happy when they invited me to be in a band with them. I was confident that I could make their strong sound even stronger. Both me and they want to take it to the next level. So HADES will continue to evolve.

What does Hades band propose to us in music and with its melodic and fiery Rock?

Sala:

私達はファンの皆さんがとても激しい情熱を秘めていると知っています。そしてその情熱を呼び起こして欲しいと望んでいると感じています。私達はその気持ちに応えて皆さんの感情を開放しとことん汗をかき音楽を楽しいで欲しいです。ファイトしましょう！

We know that our fans have a very intense passion. And we feel that you want us to evoke that passion. We want you to respond to that feeling, to open up your emotions, to sweat it out, and to enjoy the music. Let's fight!

Are you preparing a full abum?

Sala:

準備はしています。しかしもう少し時間がかかると思います。

We are preparing. But it will take a little more time.

Do you have tour dates in Japan in the following months?

Sala:

9月は18日に東京の吉祥寺CRESCENDOで、23日に東京の新宿WildSideTokyoでライブがあります。翌々月の10月もライブは盛りだくさんで、大阪や名古屋にも行きます。そして、10月28日には空也の誕生日イベントを東京の吉祥寺CRESCENDOで開催します。

In September, we will have GIGs at Kichijoji CRESCENDO, Tokyo on the 18th and at WildSideTokyo, Shinjuku, Tokyo on the 23rd. We have several gigs every month.

On October 28, we will have Ku-Ya's birthday live at Kichijoji CRESCENDO.

Any news about you Hades band?

Sala:

2023年は10月28日に空也の誕生日イベントが開催されます。と麻世のバースデーイベントが12月23日・24日に東京・吉祥寺CRESCENDOで開催される。他にもお知らせがあります、まだ秘密でした、10/1まで秘密にしておいてくださいきっと誰もがそのニュースを気に入ると思います。きっと楽しんでいただけると思います。2023年にはKu-Yaの誕生日イベントが開催されます。
