MARI Member of Mary's Blood a Japanese all-female heavy metal band from Tokyo, and former member of bands such as Clandestined, Crucified, among others, now with the Mary's Blood band. Now playing at Crucified as well.
After releasing three EPs as an independent band, they signed to Nippon Columbia for their first album, Countdown to Evolution (2014). Mary's Blood then switched to Victor Entertainment for the release of Bloody Palace (2015) and Fate (2016). They signed to Tokuma Japan Communications in 2018 and released three further studio albums, including their highest-charting, Confessions (2019). Mary's Blood began an indefinite hiatus on April 9, 2022, and now MARI released her solo album which shows us great musical ability!

My Recomendation
MARI's new solo album! It begins with Forbidden Red, an instrumental song with chords, progressive rhythms, bars and forceful and fast drums, we continue with Awakening, a Metal with a lot of speed! With a delicate and powerful guitar introduction, where we have the beautiful introduction of MARI's voice! With Stardust and Shadows we have a great synthesizer, heavy and deep drums, bass and guitar solos, in Alive we have a light start, with MARI's beautiful clean voice, but then with notable explosiveness, a fast song and a solo great battery! In Dirty Days we start in a simple way and with heavy chords maintaining a dark atmosphere and it is the heaviest song on this album, then we have the next song from Glad an important song for MARI about the feelings towards the drums, with a drum solo and the performance of two basses in a splendid way, and finally to close the album with Mirror of the Heart with acoustic guitar and clean chords by Yui-chan, and Miho-chan's bass, a ballad that is a good end to the album.
It's an album with a lot of musical speed! Chords full of energy! Power, structure, with that power metal musical style and with some progressive tempos, but above all those strong, continuous and hard chords! The drum are the specialty here in all the songs on the album, the drum are MARI's powerful weapon! Forceful, heavy and with rhythm keeping the beat throughout the album, and couples it with her beautiful voice! MARI not only has excellent drumming skills but also an excellent clean voice that she shows us in the final part of the album.

El nuevo albúm solista de MARI! Comienza con Forbidden Red una canción instrumental con acordes, ritmos progresivos, compases y una bateria contundente y rápida, seguimos con Awakening un Metal con mucha velocidad! Con una introducción de guitarra delicada y ponderosa, donde tenemos la bella introducción de la voz de MARI! Con Stardust and Shadows tenemos un sintetizador genial, una bateria pesada y profunda, el bajo y solos de guitarra, en Alive tenemos un inicio ligero, con la bella voz de MARI limpia, pero después con una explosividad notable, una canción rápida y un solo de batería genial! En Dirty Days comenzamos de manera sencilla y con acordes pesados manteniendo una atmósfera oscura y es la canción más pesada de este álbum, después tenemos la siguiente canción de Glad una canción importante para MARI sobre los sentimientos hacia la batería, con un solo de batería y la interpretación de dos bajos de manera esplendida, y finalmente para cerrar el albúm con Mirror of the Heart con guitarra acústica y acordes limpios de Yui-chan, y el bajo de Miho-chan, una balada que es un buen final para el álbum.
Es un albúm con mucha velocidad musical! Acordes llenos de energía! Potencia, estructura, con ese estilo musical de power metal y con algunos tempos progresivos, pero sobre todo esos acordes fuertes, continuos y duros! La bateria es la especialidad aquí en todas las canciones del albúm, la bateria es la poderosa arma de MARI! Contundente, pesada y con ritmo manteniendo el compás en todo el albúm, y lo acopla con su bella voz! MARI no solo tiene una excelente habilidad en la bateria si no una excelente voz limpia que nos muestra en la parte final del albúm.
