DEATHROLL is a Japanese solo black metal project, singer, songwriter, musician, and black metal band.

Born in Iwaki, Fukushima, DEATHROLL started his career in 2012 as solo black metal project and released his first album 荒涼(pronounced “kouryo”).

He released new digital album "Immorality" on 6 August 2022 with STF Records.

DEATHROLL play music depicting the darkness of jet black. And break your heart.

We have signed a worldwide digital release agreement with Wormhole death on 13 February 2023

Hello, friends! How are you! Thank you for the interview!

Does Deathroll have a different style in black metal? Or an old school style!

DEATHROLL:

We have heavy metal

Do you have any other hobbies or new hobbies? Or is it just music?

DEATHROLL:

I also like driving.

Do you like other types of music? Which ones?

DEATHROLL:

I like metal the most. I'm not that interested in anything else.

Tell us about your new single "The Fog Covers Heart"?

DEATHROLL:

I packed it with old school black metal elements.

Furthermore, the video is packed with Deathroll-like elements.

How did you get the idea and inspiration to make a new single?

DEATHROLL:

When I think about making a new song, I get a lot of inspiration on the spot. I rearrange all those phrases and create it.

Will the style of the new album be darker, more black metal? With a heavier sound?

DEATHROLL:

I think it will be more black metal.

But it will also include guitar solos and other arrangements that are unique to Deathroll.

Are you planning to release a new music video soon?

DEATHROLL:

Not yet.

Do you have any plans for a presentation in Japan?

DEATHROLL:

We plan to update you as soon as new live shows are scheduled.

Is there anything else you would like to share?

DEATHROLL:

Deathroll has added a new guitarist to our live support lineup.

This means we will be performing with twin guitars, so please look forward to it.

Is there anything else you'd like to say to your fans?

DEATHROLL:

I upload cover videos of bands that I respect on YouTube. Check them out if you're interested.

DEATHROLL は、日本のソロブラックメタルプロジェクト、シンガー、ソングライター、ミュージシャン、ブラックメタルバンドです。
