My Recomendation

The album starts at full speed, melodically and strong with "Burn The Witch", the song with that power metal style with that energetic, symphonic and majestic feeling. In “Sapphire” we have a solid, rhythmic and clear melodic sound, the combination of voices between the catchy and the light and soft between the two generates a very harmonious melody. In “Noctis Avem” we have that more accentuated melodic metal, a little more power metal, the rhythmic and melodic chords, with that drama and symphony with a constant rhythm where the drums with that beat give it forcefulness at certain moments. In “Creatures of Darkness” we have another song with that forcefulness and strength of a classic power metal! In “Midnight Sun” we have almost the continuation of the previous song, but this is a more theatrical and dramatic style, the beat is dominated by that drums and chords that fit very well with the drums. Later, a brief instrumental and ambient interlude enters with “First Disobedience”, with whispered words and neoclassical acoustic elements. But it is the overture to “Seven Sins”, which was the first single with that power in the drums and rhythm, with its good bass work and keyboards in the “Phantom of the Opera” style, I think this song is the sample of the band and his true style and musical stamp!

The album is done brilliantly! Musically it is the unique, modern and classic style of Italian power metal, with the symphonic and gothic parts that give it that darkness, the voices of Grace Darkling and Rehn Stillnight give it that very harmonious and elegant contrast, with the scale changes and changes of rhythm, a good album for lovers of the genre in general!

Después del éxito del fascinante álbum debut de 2022, "Daughters Of The Night", que mezcló elementos gótico-sinfónicos y power metal, alternando entre episodios rápidos y pesados de romper el cuello e intensas baladas orientadas al piano, Nocturna profundiza una vez más en el significado del término "dualidad" y todas sus connotaciones más morbosas.

La inspiración romántica de la letra de "Of Sorcery And Darkness" se combina armoniosamente con el sofisticado enfoque sonoro de la banda, y las voces celestiales de Grace Darkling y Rehn Stillnight pintan retratos misteriosos y sensuales de una época ancestral (pero tan cercana a nosotros). Abraza la noche.

El álbum comienza a toda velocidad, melódicamente y fuerte con "Burn The Witch", La canción con ese estilo de power metal con esa sensación enérgica, sinfónica y majestuosa. En “Sapphire” tenemos un sonido sólido, rítmico y claro melódico, la combinación de voces entre la pegadiza y la ligera y suave entre las dos se genera una melodía muy armoniosa. En “Noctis Avem” tenemos ese melodic metal más acentuado, un poco de mas power metal, los acordes rítmicos y melódicos, con ese dramatismo y sinfonía con ritmo constante en donde la batería con ese compas le da contundencia en ciertos momentos. En “Creatures of Darkness” tenemos otra canción con esa contundencia y fuerza de un clásico power metal! En “Midnight Sun” tenemos casi la continuación de la canción anterior, pero esta un estilo más teatral y dramático, el compás está dominado por esa bateria y acordes que se acoplan muy bien a la bateria. Posteriormente entra un breve interludio instrumental y ambiental con “First Disobedience”, con palabras susurradas y elementos acústicos neoclásicos. Pero es la obertura para “Seven Sins”, que fue el primer sencillo con esa potencia en la bateria y ritmo, con su buen trabajo del bajo y teclados al estilo “Phantom of the Opera”, creo esta canción es la muestra de la banda y de su verdadero estilo y sello musical!

El albúm está hecho de manera genial! Musicalmente es el estilo único, moderno y clásico del power metal italiano, con las partes sinfónicas y góticas que le dan esa oscuridad, las voces de Grace Darkling y Rehn Stillnight le dan ese contraste muy armónico y elegante, con los cambios de escala y cambios de ritmo, un buen albúm para los amantes del genero en general!
