The group was formed at the end of 2016 where a group of friends had the need to transmit emotions through the beautiful and universal language of music. Under the light of the moon that observed hard work and sleepless nights, Andadarius was born.

Hello! Band! Thank you very much for having this interview with you!

How have you been?

Emi:

Hello Darkzen! First of all, we want to thank you for the invitation to an interview; It is a pleasure to share our project with you and your readers.

Fortunately, we are feeling very well, putting all the desire in the world into Andadarius and planning everything that is coming this year 2024, which we hope will be full of pleasant moments.

Tell us about yourselves! What part of Mexico are they from?

Emi:

The members of the group are mostly in the north of México City and the Metropolitan area, specifically in the GAM Mayor's Office, Nezahualcóyotl, but another member is also in the Tláhuac Mayor's Office.

What are your musical influences from all of you? Favorite music groups?

Emi:

We consider that in general the members of all bands have their musical school depending on their lifestyle. In our case, we are five members and we have a wide variety of influences such as: Liv Kristine, Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Epica, Xandria , Mónica Naranjo, Korn, Slipknot, Scepticflesh, Dimmu Borgir, Fleshgood Apocalypse, Arch Enemy, Cradle of Filth, Old man's child, Rhapsody of fire, Iron Maiden, Kreator, Kamelot, Iced Earth, Dio, Anagaton, Dream Theater, Liquid Tension. They are our main musical influences.

Symphonic metal, any other favorite style that influences your musical compositions?

Emi:

Well, music has many nuances, that is why a ballad can contain chords or rhythms that we may like to generate ideas for our musical style. Some other styles that influence us would be: Classical Music, Rock, Industrial Metal, Death Metal, Black Metal, Hard Rock, Viking Metal, Folk Metal, Electronic, Pop Music, Melodic Death Metal Power Metal among others.

What does your name mean and under what concept do you write your songs? Special topic?

Emi:

Andadarius means “He who comes from an uncertain future” which means that there is a long path to be able to transmit messages, feelings and emotions by talking about various topics through music. Our songs don't focus on a specific topic; They can talk about sadness and melancholy, hatred, resentment, joy, love, lust and sensuality, social problems, injustices in life, and why not?, even a little revenge.

With which bands from Mexico have you shared the stage? Tell us your experience!

Emi:

Well, fortunately we have been in the music scene for several years now and we have shared the stage with great musicians and excellent original and tribute bands. An example of this is that we have played with: Anabantha, Dominhuz, Obesity, Scarlett, Outer Heaven, Lvzbel, Aiam, Estigma, Hada de Beng, Military Souls, Ana Fiori, The Warning, Mistica Girls, Crystal and Steel, Black Hate, Agora , Morante, Contrasentido and tributes from Rammstein, Korn, Slipknot and Nightwish.

We have to say that the experiences have been diverse since we have found ourselves in very good as well as tedious situations, but in general playing with other bands and meeting people from this environment is something magnificent because we have shared experiences with them and therefore those experiences They stay with us both to improve and to continue forward on this path.

Emi! Who are your favorite artists or vocalists? Who would you like to share the stage with? Tell it to them, I think they'll read it! From Mexico or what country?

Emi:

Wow! This is an excellent question and at the same time I think it is also very difficult since I like many groups and artists. Fortunately I have shared the stage with great artists that I greatly admire in Mexico such as Duan Marie from Anabantha, Ana Fiori and I would love to continue sharing it with them and many more. Now, I consider Liv Kristine, Tarja Turunen and Dianne van Giersbergen to be some of my favorite vocalists internationally and of course it would be a pleasure to share the stage with them.

Do you have any new singles in the works?

Emi:

Fortunately we have new ideas for a single after we have already released our second album. We estimate that in March it will be available on digital platforms.

What is your latest musical production?

Emi:

Our latest album is titled “Urbi et Orbi” which is available on digital platforms along with our first album called “Between the Shadows.”

Do you already have plans to make an EP, album or music video?

Emi:

After releasing the first single this year, we hope to release two more and along with that we can show our second music video which we are already preparing, but we can't give more news yet.

Do you have any presentations coming up on dates in these months?

Emi:

After the release of the first single from our third production, we hope to have events and live performances confirmed. In any case, all the information and news from Andadarius will be available on our social networks.

What do you say to your fans? Do you have any surprises in mind?

Emi:

Fortunately we have had a magnificent response from our fans and the surprise we can give them is that we will be performing live in these months.
