ELETTRA STORM band! Power/Melodic Metal, with the talented Crystal Emiliani on vocals and top-level musicians, the band's music combines the magic of the musical genre's talents, such as Stratovarius and Rhapsody of Fire, with the modern combination of bands with vocals feminine ones like Unleash the Archers, Temperance or Frozen Crown!

Who are all the members of the band? The questions every fan wants to know!
Elettra Storm:
Hi Darkzen! The band was founded by Davide Sportiello, member of the already estabilshed melodic modern metal band SinHeresy. He takes care of bass and keyboards, and he’s also the songwriter and lyricist. On vocals we have Crystal Emiliani, supported by Francis D. Mary, who plays guitars too. Both of them are also in the line-up of italian alt/rock band Re-X. The other guitar player is Matteo Antoni (ex Shadygrove), music teacher, and on drums we have the young gen. Z talent Matteo Norbedo.
What musical influences does each one have?
Elettra Storm:
We have very different backgrounds, but we are bound by the love for melodic metal. Crystal is a great Halestorm fan, Francis really like Avenged Sevenfold. Davide loves Nightwish and he had the luck to tour with Tarja Turunen. Matteo Antoni grew up with Guns ‘n’ Roeses and Matteo Norbedo is a Dream Theater scholar.
Why this style of melodic music with a lot of energy?
Elettra Storm:
We want to bring back the golden age of power metal of the beginning of the millenium with a modern approach! We love bands like Stratovarius, Rhapsody of Fire and Sonata Arctica so we wanted that kind of music, but with our very own style.
Favorite singers or other musical styles that you like?
Elettra Storm:
Crystal loves every kind of music, Francis is very into modern rock and metal, Davide has a soft spot for power metal, Matteo Antoni is a classic rock and folk guy, and Matteo Norbedo definitely is a progster. Probably we can agree that our favourite singer ever is Freddie Mercury!
What hobbies do you have?
Elettra Storm:
Well music of course! It’s both a work and a pleasure to be rock musicians and it doesen’t really leave a lot of time do do anything else :). Crystal anyway likes also photograpy and dancing.
For Crystal
Why do you have a super voice? Very nice voice! What is your vocal training?
Crystal:
Thank you very much for the compliment! I train a lot and sing disparate genres because I always wanted to be a versatile artist. I hate monotony and if something about my technique doesn’t like me, I try to improve myself every day.
Tell us how you feel about being with this super band?
Crystal:
The members of my band are lovely people and grat musicians. I feel great!
What would you tell your fans about yourself? Let them know you more!
Crystal:
One thing I could tell you about myself is that I’m an eternal Peter Pan. I love videogames, anime and I love telling stories. I live in a world of my own and I daydream. One way to relax is to play my favourite videogame (Final Fantasy saga) on the bed with a nice bowl of popcorn!!!

For the band
How about the release of your Powerlords album? How about the reviews?
Elettra Storm:
“Powerlords” was released via Scarlet Records on February 16th. It has been very well received by the fans, we collecetd a lot of views of our videos ad positive feedbacks. Also the physical copies are selling fast! A lot of reviews was very enthusiasthic, a minority criticized our traditional way of playing Italian Melodic Power Metal, but we really don’t care…
Do you have any upcoming releases like a new video?
Elettra Storm:
Yes, something is on the way, stay tuned!
How about the production and composition of your debut album?
Elettra Storm:
The album was composed by Davide during the pandemic with both old and news ideas. Mixing and mastering was handled by Simone Mularoni, a true master for this genre and a very nice human beign too!
Will there be any continuation as well as a movie-type prequel hehe, your debut album? It has excellent musical composition!
Elettra Storm:
Thank you! We are already working on new songs, so you can definetly expect a sequel to “Powerlords”!
What does the band have in mind for these months?
Elettra Storm:
We’ll keep promoting the album online, along with some selected live shows here in Italy. Do you have any tours nearby?
Elettra Storm:
Not yet, but if there will be the chance we’d love to bring our music around the world!
In México as in Latin América the Italian Metal style of music is great! And super beloved!
When would we have the honor of having you as a band here in América?
Elettra Storm:
We hope as soon as possible, it would be a dream playing in another continent :).

¿Quiénes son todos los miembros de la banda? ¡Las preguntas que todo fan quiere saber!
Elettra Storm:
Hola Darkzen! La banda fue fundada por Davide Sportiello, miembro de la ya establecida banda de metal moderno melódico SinHeresy. Se ocupa del bajo y los teclados, y también es el compositor y letrista. En la voz tenemos a Crystal Emiliani, apoyada por Francis D. Mary, quien también toca la guitarra. Ambos también están en la formación de la banda italiana de rock alternativo Re-X. El otro guitarrista es Matteo Antoni (ex Shadygrove), profesor de música, y en la batería tenemos al joven gen. Talento Z Matteo Norbedo.
¿Qué influencias musicales tiene cada uno?
Elettra Storm:
Tenemos orígenes muy diferentes, pero nos une el amor por el metal melódico. Crystal es una gran fan de Halestorm, a Francis le gusta mucho Avenged Sevenfold. A Davide le encanta Nightwish y tuvo la suerte de hacer una gira con Tarja Turunen. Matteo Antoni creció con Guns 'n' Roeses y Matteo Norbedo es un estudioso de Dream Theatre.
¿Por qué este estilo de música melódica con mucha energía?
Elettra Storm:
¡Queremos recuperar la edad de oro del power metal de principios del milenio con un enfoque moderno! Nos encantan bandas como Stratovarius, Rhapsody of Fire y Sonata Arctica así que queríamos ese tipo de música, pero con nuestro propio estilo.
¿Cantantes favoritos u otros estilos musicales que les gusten?
Elettra Storm:
A Crystal le encanta todo tipo de música, a Francis le gusta mucho el rock y el metal modernos, Davide tiene debilidad por el power metal, Matteo Antoni es un tipo de rock clásico y folk, y Matteo Norbedo definitivamente es un progresivo. ¡Probablemente podamos estar de acuerdo en que nuestro cantante favorito es Freddie Mercury!
¿Qué hobbies tienen?
Elettra Storm:
¡Bueno, música por supuesto! Es a la vez un trabajo y un placer ser músicos de rock y realmente no deja mucho tiempo para hacer otra cosa :). A Crystal también le gusta la fotografía y el baile.

¿Por qué tienes una súper voz? Muy linda voz! ¿Cuál es tu formación vocal?
Cristal:
¡Muchas gracias por el cumplido! Entreno mucho y canto géneros dispares porque siempre quise ser un artista polivalente. Odio la monotonía y si algo de mi técnica no me gusta, trato de mejorar cada día.
Cuéntanos ¿Cómo te sientes al estar con esta súper banda?
Cristal:
Los miembros de mi banda son personas encantadoras y excelentes músicos. ¡Me siento genial!
¿Qué les dirías a tus fans sobre ti? ¡Que te conozcan más!
Cristal:
Una cosa que podría decirte sobre mí es que soy un eterno Peter Pan. Me encantan los videojuegos, el anime y me encanta contar historias. Vivo en un mundo propio y sueño despierta. Una manera de relajarme es jugar a mi videojuego favorito (la Saga Final Fantasy) en la cama con un buen plato de palomitas!!!

¿Qué tal el lanzamiento de nuestro álbum Powerlords? ¿Qué tal las reseñas?
Elettra Storm:
“Powerlords” fue lanzado a través de Scarlet Records el 16 de febrero. Ha sido muy bien recibido por los fans, obtuvimos muchas vistas de nuestros videos y comentarios positivos. ¡Además las copias físicas se están vendiendo rápido! Muchas críticas fueron muy entusiastas, una minoría criticó nuestra forma tradicional de tocar el Power Metal melódico italiano, pero realmente no nos importa…
¿Tienen algún lanzamiento próximo como un nuevo vídeo?
Elettra Storm:
Sí, algo está en camino, ¡estar atentos!
¿Qué tal la producción y composición de nuestro álbum debut?
Elettra Storm:
El álbum fue compuesto por Davide durante la pandemia con ideas tanto antiguas como nuevas. La mezcla y masterización estuvo a cargo de Simone Mularoni, un verdadero maestro de este género y también un ser humano muy agradable.
¿Habrá alguna continuación, así como una precuela tipo película jeje, de nuestro álbum debut? ¡Tiene una excelente composición musical!
Elettra Storm:
¡Gracias! ¡Ya estamos trabajando en nuevas canciones, así que definitivamente puedes esperar una secuela de “Powerlords”!
¿Qué tiene en mente la banda para estos meses?
Elettra Storm:
Seguiremos promocionando el álbum online, junto con algunos shows en vivo seleccionados aquí en Italia.
¿Tiene algún tour cerca?
Elettra Storm:
Todavía no, pero si existiera la oportunidad, ¡nos encantaría llevar nuestra música a todo el mundo!
¡En México como en América Latina el estilo de música Metal Italiano es genial! ¡Y súper amado! ¿Cuándo tendríamos el honor de tenerlos como banda aquí en América?
Elettra Storm:
Esperamos lo antes posible, sería un sueño tocar en otro continente :).
