An Little of the Bio of Secret Rule! The band was formed in 2014 with the intention to create a powerful, and rhythmically challenging sound. They released their first álbum ‘Transposed Emotions’ the following year. The band is fronted by powerful singer Angela Di Vincenzo and notable musicians such as keyboardist Henrik Klingenberg (Sonata Arctica) and the drummer Sander Zoer (ex Delain).

 

A fresh and full of new music with excellent musical technique in combination of powerful and beautiful voice of Angela Di Vincenzo, a second álbum really well done!

Ex Machina

 

I like the entrance, orchestral sequences electronic background with a battery and guitars opening the way of the powerful voice of Angela Di Vicenzo! I like the musical style! Soft and strong! These guitar riffs are emotionally phenomenal! Compas and certainly well mixed tempos.

 

 

The Saviour

 

Ingenious and strong input! Technique and skill in very interesting combination of sounds, the voice of Angela gives more weight to the song, quickly and well worked, battery and electronic sequences majestic.

 

Have The Sun

 

A slower song with more dense and mysterious sounds, the voice of Angela with greater exposure to listen to the riffs definitely an essential part of the song, that combined give you a sense rhythms, melody and style to each song.

 

Dolls

 

Go to change! A stronger and more powerful voice, guitars to the fullest! Technically I repeat, excellent combination and mixing sounds! A faster song, with a style more Power and Progressive voices are perfectly coupled with a clear statement of Angela's voice with great distinction!

 

I Will

 

A song more extroverted and technique especially with the guitars, the voice of Angela, in whole well managed and clear song, faster and loud song! I like the change of sounds and managing them

 

The Image

 

A melancholic piano and sinister, with a clear and direct voice, just lose yourself in the music and the voice will make you fantasize about her background vocals, a more passive and emotional song, those guitar solos is the hallmark.

 

You're The Player

 

faster guitars, melodic and well-crafted song, with the hallmarks of these remarkable solos and riffs of guitar, the voice only Angela!

 

Your Trap

 

Curious entry very electronic, the entry heavier and with a mysterious style and suspense! Angela's voice becomes more suggestive indeed! With lapses in fast and slow rhythms, these electronic sequences are curious too, and an unexpected ending.

 

Foolish Daisy

 

Ohhh I like that, those riffs and clearly more conventional rockers! Combined nice throaty voice and the beautiful voice of Angela, hard and delivery, a catchy song, with something baffling rhythmic changes, and with a good ending.

 

 

Short Stories

 

Nice entrance, quick and forceful, fast in balance and melodic, somewhat similar to other previous songs, with electronic music and excellent mixing, I like the final, loud and long.

 

A Mother

 

To end a very instrumental song, accompanied by an acoustic guitar where we can hear the voice of Angela with a clear dominance in her voice, clear and strong record fine, no greater emotional charge in this song, I like the falsetto that makes Angela in chorus, very emotional song.

 

 

My Recomendation

 

It is an album very well worked, has an interesting and full musical combinations of emotions, with each song style is different, with the same base and musical theme, it makes it really feel what Angela sings and expresses the band musically, I like the changes that have, on guitar, on drums, electronic sequences, time and time exposure of her voice, I can not say they are of a style, or some band resemble, they have an excellent technique musical, I can say that between Progressive Melodic Power Metal and just, enclosing the symphonic metal is certainly just my view point, for lovers of this unique style will love!

 

It is a continuous álbum is varied at the beginning of the álbum and half of this, maintain the strength and forcefulness between riffs and solos very good guitars, some songs have musical similarity, but the style of each is very different on all start with Ex Machina and the End of highly emotional álbum with a beautiful voice that wonder.

 

It also has the following Collaborations Secret Rule, the new álbum ‘Machination’ will be released this summer by Scarlet Records. The álbum has been produced, mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Moonspell, Dark Tranquillity) and features special guest appearances by Stefan Helleblad (Within Temptation), Timo Somers (Delain), Fabio D’Amore (Serenity) and more.

 

+ The good

It is a very well worked, mixed the álbum and thematic

 

-The bad

Maybe a little at the beginning of the álbum and Through of him the low intensity, closing with an excellent song, but quieter!

 

Originality and Creativity

They have a clear originality with strong, rhythmic, well mixed sounds and the influence of the band on the álbum has a very clear overture style of this new álbum!

 

 

Vocal

The voice of Angela Di Vicenzo is interesting with a soft vocal, mixed and reaches the range of the exact song and just at the moment when the timeline, the last song we hear even better, with a clear voice domain and in some songs accompanied by a very wrenching screaming voice and strong! at no time is lost strength! really they convey the emotion that capture the songs.

Un poco de la Bio de Secret Rule! La banda se formó en 2014 con la intención de crear un sonido potente, y rítmicamente desafiante. Lanzaron su primer álbum 'Emociones transpuestos’ al año siguiente. La banda es liderada por la poderosa cantante Angela Di Vincenzo y músicos notables como el teclista Henrik Klingenberg (Sonata Arctica) y el baterísta Sander Zoer (ex Delain).

 

Un álbum fresco y lleno de música nueva con técnica musical excelente en combinación de la poderosa y bella voz de Ángela, realmente un segundo álbum muy bien hecho!

Ex Machina

 

Me agrada la entrada, secuencias orquestales de fondo, electrónicas con una batería y guitarras abriendo camino de la poderosa voz de Ángela Di Vicenzo! Me gusta el estilo musical! Suave y fuerte! Esos riffs de guitarra son emocionalmente fenomenales! Compas y tempos bien mezclados sin duda. 

 

The Saviour

 

Ingeniosa y fuerte entrada! Técnica y habilidad en combinación de sonidos muy interesantes, la voz de Ángela le da más cuerpo a la canción, rápida y bien trabajada, batería y secuencias electrónicas majestuosas.

 

 

Have The Sun

 

Una canción más lenta con sonidos más densos y misteriosos, hay más tiempo en la fuerte voz de Ángela! Con mayor exposición al escucharla, los riffs sin duda una parte esencial de la canción, ese combinado de ritmos le dan un sentido, melodía y estilo a cada canción.

 

Dolls

 

Vaya que cambio! Una voz más fuerte y poderosa, guitarras al máximo! Técnicamente lo vuelvo a repetir, excelente combinación y mezcla de sonidos! Una canción más rápida, con un estilo más Power y Progresivo, las voces se acoplan perfectamente, con una clara exposición de la voz de Ángela con gran distinción!

 

I Will

 

Una canción más extrovertida y con técnica en especial con las guitarras, la voz de Ángela, en toda la canción bien manejada y clara, una canción más rápida y estrepitosa! Me agrada el cambio de sonidos y el manejo de ellos

 

The Image

 

Un siniestro piano y melancólico, con una voz clara y directa, solo déjate llevar por la música y la voz te hará fantasear con ella, voces de fondo, una canción más pasiva y emocional, esos solos de guitarra es el sello distintivo.

 

You’re The Player

 

Guitarras rápidas y con mayor velocidad, una canción melódica y bien trabajada, con los sellos distintivos de esos solos y riffs de guitarra notables, la voz de Ángela única!

 

Your Trap

 

Curiosa entrada muy electrónica, más pesada la entrada y con un estilo misterioso y de suspenso! La voz de Ángela se hace más sugestiva sin duda! Con lapsos en ritmos rápidos y lentos, esas secuencias electrónicas son curiosas, y un final inesperado

 

Foolish Daisy

 

Ohhh eso me agrada, esos riffs convencionales y netamente más rockeros! Combinado agradable de voz gutural y la bella voz de Ángela, con fuerza y entrega, una canción más pegadiza, con cambios rítmicos algo desconcertantes, y con un buen final.

 

Short Stories

 

Agradable entrada, rápida y contundente, rápida en balance y melódica, algo semejante a otras anteriores canciones, con un mezclado electrónico y musical excelente, me agrada el final, fuerte y largo.

 

 

A Mother

 

Para finalizar una canción muy instrumental, en compañía de una guitarra acústica donde podemos escuchar muy bien la voz de Ángela con un claro dominio en su registro vocal, claro y fuerte, hay mayor carga emocional en esta canción, me agrada el falsete que hace Ángela en coro, muy emotiva la canción.

 

Mi Recomendación

 

Es un álbum muy bien trabajado, tiene una combinaciones musicales interesantes y llenas de emociones, con cada canción el estilo es diferente, con la misma base y temática musical, hace sentir realmente lo que canta Ángela y lo que expresa la banda musicalmente, me gustan los cambios que tiene, en las guitarras, en la Batería, las secuencias electrónicas, los tiempos y en el tiempo de exposición de voz de ella, no puedo decir que son de un estilo, o que se asemejan alguna banda, tienen una excelente técnica musical, puedo decir que entre Progresivo, Power y simplemente Metal Melódico, que encierra al Metal Sinfonico sin duda, es solo mi punto de vista, para los amantes de este estilo único les encantara!

 

No es un álbum continuo, es variado al inicio del álbum y a la mitad de este, mantienen la fuerza y contundencia entre los riffs y solos de guitarras muy buenos, algunas canciones tienen semejanza musical, pero el estilo de cada una es muy diferente, sobre todo el inicio con Ex Machina y el Final del álbum sumamente emotivo y con una hermosa voz que maravilla.

 

Además cuenta con las siguientes colaboraciones el nuevo álbum ‘Machination’ será lanzado este verano por Scarlet Records. El álbum has sido producido, mezclado y masterizado por Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Moonspell, Dark Tranquillity) and colaboraciones especiales por Stefan Helleblad (Within Temptation), Timo Somers (Delain), Fabio D’Amore (Serenity) y más.

 

+ Lo bueno

Es un álbum muy bien trabajado, mezclado y temática

 

 

-Lo malo

Quizás un poco en que al inicio del álbum y atraves de el baja la intensidad, cerrando con una excelente canción, pero más tranquila

 

Originalidad y Creatividad

 

Tienen una clara originalidad con sonidos fuertes, rítmicos, bien mezclados y la influencia de la banda en el álbum tiene una obertura muy clara con estilo de este nuevo álbum!

 

Vocal

 

La voz de Ángela Di Vicenzo es  interesante con un registro vocal suave, se mezcla y alcanza el rango de la canción exacto y justo en el momento en la escala de tiempo, en la última canción la podemos escuchar aún mejor, con un claro dominio vocal y en algunas canciones en compañía de  un screaming de voz muy desgarrador y fuerte! en ningún momento se pierde fuerza! realmente transmiten la emoción que plasman la canciones.
