The Review!

01. Armor Of Dust

Beautiful Intro! Atmospheric, background choirs and the voice that joins a strong sound of guitars with strong musical sequences, a shivering riff that leads us and brings us to the voice of Marie!

02. Armageddon

Fast, strong, fast and dense entry. Marie's melodic and rhythmic voice, the theme and the song itself is a passage to a musical Armageddon! The musical pause is perfect gives space to the voice and acoustics that the company, Coros and heartbreaking voice gives the dark part to this song.

03. Fly Away

A totally symphonic and atmospheric Intro, along with the background chorus that accompanies it, a heavy and accelerated song in some moments, the scale of the changing voice and good shape together with the musical changes without being overshadowed by the musical instruments, those guitars are demolishing!

04. The Page

The most acoustic and silent song, which we turn to the page as its name, the voice of Marie demonstrating her mastery and hypnotizing us towards a musical dimension full of contrasts.

05. Follow Your Heart

As I said before, the musical contrast is tremendous! One more power metal entry! With a great guitar presence, as the song continues it has a great mix of voice, music and the presence of those unique riffs.

06. Angel Of Tears

We continue with the story and now this song comes to us combining excellent musical sequences of the epic type, voice and forcefulness

07. Free As A Bird

Epic, operatic voices, with a dramatic and symphonic cut like overture with a speed to moments and between pauses with the voice of Marie, with a more acute scale, interesting entrance of guitar riffs.

08. The Mistchild

Excellent Orchestral entrance, combination of heavy and soft rhythms in a single space and moment of rhythm changes, scales that give a powerful input to the voice of Marie.

09. Dust We Are

Closing this musical chapter we reach the final part with an epic entry of a devastating battle in sounds that indicate the end of this path, slower and heavier with force until the end, without losing the strength with which this album was started!

My Recomendation

It's a good album with a lot of musical technique! an operatic voice, a lot of choral vocal arrangements, overwhelming and forceful riffs, abundant and rhythmic guitar solos in many of the songs, a strong rhythm section and good times in musical scale and next to the voice, an immense and overwhelming orchestration, a stamp of both the band and the genre itself.

The album As Time Turns To Dust is simply a brand and stamp for Whyzdom. The sound is devastating, it is continuous and strong at the beginning and as it is still a bit low in power, it is a good production and at the same time ambitious for everything it musically brings together, Whyzdom demonstrates with his compositions and musical expertise a great work.

Voices

The voice of Marie is interesting in this album, in the scale and vocal range, it is coupled to the change in style and power with each song gives it a very marked artistic expression, in some passages the falsetto is very sharp without getting lost before the musical background throughout the album, in the song The Page Marie's voice demonstrates her mastery of a musical dimension full of contrasts, the passion is heard when transmitting all the songs.

Score: 95/100

La Reseña!

  1. Armour Of Dust

Hermoso Intro!

  1. The Page

  1. Follow Your Heart

  1. Angel Of Tears

  1. Free As A Bird

  1. The Mistchild

  1. Dust We Are
